When I look at the photos from Alex and Philipp’s June Welkinweir Nuptials I can almost taste the way the air smelled that day, delicate, green and fresh. It was everything you could want from a wedding inspired both by the classic English Garden and the iconic New England landscaping of Martha’s Vineyard. For the ceremony arrangements they selected large, blue and white chinoiserie urns and then echoed that pattern in the reception with delicate blue floral print runners. Finishing the look was beautiful, custom day-of stationary. As a further nod to one of the couple’s favorite places, the tables were even named for the different towns on Martha’s Vineyard! If you’re planning a spring wedding or maybe looking for unique ways to incorporate a touch of “something blue,” this wedding is sure to inspire you!
